Current Positions Available

Learning Support Officer

Aquinas College wishes to employ two dynamic, suitably qualified Learning Support Officers.  These Fixed Term positions are 0.8 FTE – Full Time for Terms 3 & 4 of 2018.

The preferred candidates will be enthusiastic, keen to engage and inspire and be able to support students with different learning styles.

The successful applicant:

  • will have relevant experience and skills and a strong interest in supporting students' learning
  • will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children
  • will have Certificate lll and/or Certificate lV in Education Support/Integration Aide
  • will have the ability to work successfully within a team
  • will be an Australian resident or have a current Australian work visa
  • will have a current Working With Children Check and Victorian Police Check

Exam Supervisors

Aquinas College wishes to employ enthusiastic and suitably experienced Exam Supervisors. These are casual positions and applicants must be available on the following dates:

  • 13 June 2018 (approximate hours: 8.30am – 2.00pm) 
  • 31 October – 21 November 2018 (note: there are a range of shifts between 3 & 6 hours long, between the hours of 8.30am and 6.00pm)

The rate of pay is in accordance with VCAA guidelines and is currently $30.00/hr.

Please note that Supervisors cannot be:

  1. Related to or associated with any student undertaking a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2018 at Aquinas College.
  2. Teaching any student in a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2018.
  3. Tutoring a student in a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2018 at Aquinas College.
  4. Related to or associated with any person engaged in teaching, tutoring or coaching any students undertaking a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2018, or any school personnel engaged in organising or checking VCE external assessment materials at Aquinas College.
  5. Employed by the school in any teaching (excluding CRT) or administrative capacity.

All Supervisors must obtain a Working with Children Check before commencing employment.
