Current Positions Available

Design Technology Teacher & VET Trainer in Building & Construction

Aquinas College wishes to employ dynamic, suitably qualified educators to teach Design Technology and VET Building & Construction. These positions will commence at the start of the school year in 2019.

The preferred candidates will be enthusiastic, keen to engage and inspire our students and able to deliver curriculum that caters for students with different learning styles. Participation in the co-curricular life of the College is an expectation. 

The successful applicant:

  • Will have proven experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning in the above area
  • Will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children
  • Will have excellent communication skills
  • Will have the ability to work successfully within a team
  • Will have current VIT Registration or equivalent

Instrumental Music Teacher - Lower Brass

Aquinas College wishes to appoint a dynamic, suitably qualified musician to the position of Instrumental Music Teacher – Lower Brass. This is a FTE 0.3 - 0.4 position, Fixed Term for the 2019 school year.

The successful applicant:

  • Will have the ability to teach Lower Brass
  • Will be comfortable teaching Year 7 – 12 students including VCE students
  • Will participate in school music events as required from time to time
  • Will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children
  • Will have excellent communication skills
  • Will have the ability to work successfully within a team
  • Will have a current WWCC and Police Check

 VIT Registration would be an advantage.
